A proper vault for the way you
actually own firearms.
Gun Vault was built because spreadsheets are a bad fit for the way real gun owners treat their collections — and because the records, photos, and stories that go with each firearm deserved a home of their own.
The problem with every other option
This started where most small products start: a specific problem nobody else was solving well.
Most gun owners keep records in one of three places: a spreadsheet that grows until it's unusable, a pile of receipts in a drawer or folder, or nothing at all. When the moment comes that you need those records — insurance claim, sale, trade, inheritance, cross-country move — the system breaks down, usually at the worst possible time.
We looked at the existing options. Generic inventory apps treat a rifle like a toaster. Some "gun apps" turn out to be thin UI on top of data that gets sold. Excel works until it doesn't. And a filing cabinet works until a fire, or a move, or you're not the one going through it anymore.
So we built Gun Vault. Purpose-built for firearms. Private by default. With the features real owners actually need — photos tied to serial numbers, bills of sale stored with the gun, legacy planning for when you're gone, NFA-grade records for Title II items, and credits across a whole ecosystem of tools that handle the other parts of ownership.
Three commitments we won't break
Company values are usually marketing copy. These are the three that decide every product decision we make.
Privacy Isn't a Feature
It's the foundation. We will never sell, share, or report your firearm data. We will never use it to train anything. We will never be a federal registry. That's the product, not a tier.
Your Data Is Portable
Export CSV, PDF, or ZIP anytime, on any plan including Free. If we ever stop serving you well, it should take you thirty seconds to leave. That keeps us honest.
Specifics Over Buzzwords
We publish our encryption algorithms, our hosting region, and our subpoena numbers. We don't say "enterprise-grade security" and hope you don't ask what that means.
The short version
Real company. Real people. Real location.
Gun Vault is one of five tools
Each platform handles a different part of ownership. One account unlocks all of them.
Start with Free.
No credit card. No trial period. Five firearms documented properly — for as long as you want, on a platform built by people who understand what that means.
